Christopher was admitted as a solicitor in 1983, and called to the private Bar in 1994.
He has an extensive practice in complex litigation in the Supreme and District Courts, Queensland Court of Appeal, Coroners Court, and the High Court. His proven expertise includes Professional (with special interest in Medical) negligence, Insurance, Trusts and Estates, Road authority claims, Police torts, Historic sex cases, Education and Corrective Services torts, and Wrongful death.
Christopher’s involvement extends to hundreds of such cases.
With significant attention to detail, and a focus on the central issues in the litigation, Christopher inspires loyalty in his instructing solicitors and clients. Repeat clients over many years include Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, Queensland Police Service, Queensland Health, Queensland Ambulance Service, Education Queensland, Queensland Corrections, Department of Science and the Environment, The Crown Solicitor, Department of Justice, and Q-Super.
Christopher observes the cab-rank rule, and acts also for Plaintiffs including on a speculative retainer, where appropriate.
